Hello, my name is Ayden, founder of Shurley Industries. If you've been to the home page, you already know what we do. But WHY do we do it?

The T-shirt market is oversaturated, but it's a low-starting-capital business endeavor that most anyone with an Internet connection and a couple hundred bucks can start. A lot of them chase trends and easy profit, but what I want is to make a self-sustaining industrial ecosystem. Cute and funny T-shirts are only a way to start building our identity and brand.

But what are we offering? We are offering original, thoughtful, and SIconic designs that form the basis for our universe. Shurley Industries is starting with T-shirts and other PODable products, but that's far from the only product category we'll ever produce. This website and this store are more than just that; this is a proving ground, and it's a way to get the word out about how good SI design is, and raise capital, so that one day we can build bicycles, industrial robots, canned beverages, and whatever else strikes our fancy. 

We want artists, designers, makers, whoever, to join us and move the cause forward. I don't have much to offer at this stage except providing a vector for people to get their designs out there. We are better, stronger, and more visible as one.

I don't really have one specific end goal except to make cool stuff. And for that, at least the kind of stuff I dream of, lots of money is required, it's unfortunate, but it's the way things are. I've been trying to do this alone for too long, and it's time to open the doors of SI to everyone else; people who share my hopes and ideals. Niche will take over the world.
